Coming by public transport:
The bus 18 will take you from Luxembourg’s Gare Centrale to the festival (bus stop AVALON) and back (FESTIVAL GATE) until late at night. AVL schedule here.
Coming by bicycle:
A bicycle storage space is located right next to the festival entrance. It will be guarded and locked at night, but we recommend you bring a lock.
Coming by car:
If you do need to come by car, the official FFYS parking space (indoor and guarded) is located 1km away from the festival site, at LUXEXPO Parking Sud and is connected to the festival via the bus line 18 (approx. 10 minutes waiting time). Parking costs 7€ per day from Friday on. If you arrive on Thursday, please follow the instructions on site where to park.
A free ‘Kiss and Camp’ area is located at LUXEXPO Parking Nord, which enables you to drop off your friends or your kids. The KISS and CAMP area is located 800 m away from the festival, and is connected via the bus line 18 (approx. 10 minutes waiting time).
A vast camping area as well as a campers camping are set right to the festival site. The camping is only accessible to visitors holding a 3-day pass. The camping area is divided into two parts. One for night owls, and one for early birds.
CHILDREN & AGE LIMITS
Children are more than welcome to the festival. Many elements of the program will surely appeal to them, mainly the playing area, the ‘Mal-Ort’n as well as children friendly concerts, performances and workshops. Special ear protection for kids is available at the Info Point.
Kids until 12 will be admitted to the festival free of charge, but only under the supervision of a parent or relative. Visitors under the age of 16 will be admitted to the camping grounds, but only in possession of a signed parental authorisation and under the supervision of an entitled grown up person. Visitors under the age of 18 will be admitted to the festival in possession of a signed parental authorisation. A valid ID will be demanded at the entrance. Parental authorisation download here.
